Final Survey Blog post

1.I am trying to understand how athlete value their nutrition in order to help them succeed. 2. They helped me realize how many males vs females play sports and how many sports both genders play 3. I would add helpful nutritional tips at the bottom of the survey as a thank you to the people for completing the survey 4. I think overall our survey wasn't gender specific the main demographic questions were just about age and gender to see who they correlated with number of sports played and such. We tried to make the survey able to be portrayed to everyone, and I think that is why our was so successful. 5. Question 4 told me the most because it showed me how many people care about their nutrition but also how their nutrition affects the way the play and compete. It was able to give me a good idea of how many people understand that playing and nutrition have a lot of correlation. 6. The summary I give about the results are that many athletes have a good understanding about nutrition but they need more explanation on how eating the healthy correct foods pre, during, and post game will help their over all performance. I think that because of this survey we were able to make people somewhat understand how important nutrition is and the benefit on eating and hydrating properly. 7. I liked that this project was fun and informational at the same time. I benefitted from other's surveys and learned about their topics, but also people benefitted from my survey and I liked that the most,

Virtual Business

The three goals of operating a business in Virtual Sports was to sell tickets, have people aware of football in their city and to not have any traffic jams or accidents causing people to be late. The two most difficult lessons were financials and media planning. They were the most time consuming lessons and most frustrating. The easiest aspect of managing the team was the player management because once you understand the concept of releasing injured players you were able to have a very successful team

Savenger Hunt

The easiest task was all the ones about the NCAA because their website was very easy to navigate.I think I would rather have worked with somebody I was close or friendly with rather than a random person. My partner and I divided the work up and then shared a good document in order to complete the task. I think this is a fair assessment because it keeps it fun and different.

Blog Post #2- Pro Sports Team Charity

Michaela Boyle http://espn.go.com/nhl/story/_/id/8672437/nhl-players-help-sandy-victims-charity-game Soon after the tragedy that occurred in Sandy Hook Connecticut on December, 14th 2012 members of the NHL who were in the middle of the lockout suited up to raise money for the families who were affected this tragedy. The Operation Hat Trick Game organized by Scott Hartnell and Brad Richards. The game with the tickets ranging from 20 dollars to 100 dollars. The proceeds went to the American Red Cross, Empire State Relief Fund and the New Jersey Hurricane Relief Fund. The NHLPA also donated $20,000 to the charities. The game featured Team New York vs. Team New Jersey, with team New York winning by a score of 10-6 A game like this can help market the players and team involved in events like this because it gives viewers, fans or critics nothing but good things to say about players involved in these events. Especially during the NHL lockout having players involved in these charity events could help the owners of the NHl to decided to agree with the players and get the season rolling. Also the players and programs could get more fans and supporters from the peoples lives they touched while playing in this game.
